Melaku Begashaw, our East Africa Regional Coordinator (RECO), recently presented the results of a coverage assessment carried out in Katsina State and Baure to key stakeholders in Nigeria. Those present included the Country Health Director, Unicef representation, DFID representation as well as various ACF representatives. In order to be able to establish coverage of the Katsina state, the SLEAC methodology was applied, allowing our regional coordinator to identify areas of low coverage and deepen his understanding of boosters and barriers in those specific LGAs (Local Government Areas) through the application of the SQUEAC methodology. The full report will be coming soon.
