In conjunction with national nutrition clusters, the Coverage Monitoring Network will be facilitating national level CMAM coverage workshops in the nine CMN Phase II priority countries (Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan, DRC, Mali, Chad, Burkina Faso, Pakistan and Niger) between July and October 2014. The workshops will help decision-makers at the national level to plan how to regularly assess the coverage of their CMAM services through coverage assessments and through the collection of regular programme data.
The two day workshops will bring together key nutrition stakeholders in each country to establish an understanding of existing technical capacities and opportunities for implementing coverage assessments at national level and to plan how to develop country-specific action plans to scale up coverage assessments. More details about the aims and structure of the workshops is available here.
The first workshop will take place in Addis Ababa from 1-2 July. All other workshops will be displayed in the Events section of the website over the coming weeks. If you are interested in attending any of these workshops, please email Hugh at h.lortphillips@actionagainsthunger.org.uk .
